API Keys

You can find your public API key by logging into your ChangeNOW Business Account and navigating to "Dashboard" or “Profile Details”.

The Private API key works only with the v2/exchanges endpoint. We will generate it using your GPG public key in .asc format. This API key is issued once per business account and cannot be replaced.

Advanced Commission Settings

Yes, you can set different commissions for different flows or coins. You can set unique commissions for standard vs. fixed-rate flows or specific pairs. This is useful for advanced partners.

Furthermore, starting May 2025, you can use the new userId parameter in the API to separate commissions per community segment. No need for multiple accounts.

For requests related to commission changes or advanced features, we will ask you to confirm where ChangeNOW is integrated (or where integration is planned), including the link/app/bot, and the expected timeline.

Testing and Rate Limits

We do not have a dedicated test environment. You can use the XRP-XLM pair for testing the standard flow due to its low fees.

The API rate limit is 1800 requests per minute, which is 30 requests per second. This limit applies to all endpoints under the same API key.
