How to perform an exchange in the ChangeNOW apps on iOS & Android

Exchanging crypto on the go is fast and secure with the ChangeNOW mobile app. 

Whether you use iOS or Android, the exchange process is pretty much identical and designed to give you a smooth, stress-free experience.

Follow these simple steps to complete your transaction:

1. Choose your exchange pair:

Open the ChangeNOW app. Select the currency and the amount you want to deposit, then choose the currency you want to receive. The app will automatically calculate the best exchange rate. Tap to proceed to the next screen.

2. Enter the recipient address:

Input the destination address where you want to receive your exchanged funds. You can provide your address using one of the following methods:

• Paste: Insert an address you have copied from your recipient wallet.
• Scan: Use your camera to scan a wallet's QR code.
• Use address book: Select an address from your address book (this includes previously used or manually saved addresses).

3. Send your deposit:

To start the exchange, you need to send your funds to the provided ChangeNOW deposit address. Choose the method that is most convenient for you:

• Copy & paste: Copy the generated address and paste it into your sending wallet.
• Scan QR code: Display the QR code on the screen and scan it with your sending wallet app.
• Share: Share the deposit address directly via messengers or email.
• Instant deposit: Select one of the suggested wallets on the screen to send your deposit in just two clicks.
• WalletConnect: Connect your personal wallet directly to expedite the deposit process.

4. Track the exchange status:

Once your deposit is sent, we will take care of the rest. The app will process your transaction and keep you updated by notifying you of every status change along the way.

5. Exchange complete:

You are all set! A success screen will appear confirming that the exchange is finished and your desired coins have been successfully sent to your recipient wallet.
